About Us

We are funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). Disability Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTAC's) are a national platform of ten centers comprised of ADA professionals and experts charged with assisting businesses, state and local governments, and people with disabilities as they manage the process of changing our culture to be user friendly to disability and the effect the variety of health conditions can have on society. The DBTAC is a part of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington (http://rehab.washington.edu) and collaborates with the U.W. Center on Technology and Disability Studies (http://uwctds.washington.edu ) in the Center for Human Development and Disability.

As the ADA Information Center in Region 10, we have aggressively staffed our project with professionals familiar with disability, rehabilitation, rehab engineering, special education, the built environment, accessibility to buildings and electronic accessibility, civil rights law, and business professionals. Our regional advisory committee and our state affiliates are made up the premier leaders in ADA compliance in each of the states we serve.

Our survey software is powered by Survey Gizmo.
